Cancelling on behalf of someone else
Please note that we keep strictly to the rules of clinical confidentiality. Suppose you are cancelling on behalf of someone else. In that case, we have to know that you have their permission to do so unless they are incapable (because of physical and mental illness) or you are the patient’s parent/family member or carer.
Cancelling due to illness
Patients who cannot make their appointment due to illness must, where possible, contact the practice two working days before meeting if they cannot attend. Failure to notify us may cause you to follow unless you have exceptional circumstances. We may, at times, ask for proof of this. We Thank you for your understanding.
